Canadian Border Services are announcing the seizure of several kilograms of heroin at the Halifax Airport.
Agents were routinely examining a traveller’s suitcase on February 14th.
Agents discovered inconsistencies in the luggage.
After taking apart from the suitcase, they discovered a large package in the lining.
Tests determined it was 4.8 kilograms of heroin.
The male traveller was arrested, handed over to the RCMP and subsequently charged.
