Sonya Burrill is the chair of the New Brunswick Famillies for Midwives and tells us the announcement comes with a bit of caution as they have heard announcements like this before.
She says they are very hopeful adding there has been a lot of work over two years by the province and on the legislation and by the Midwifery Council of New Brunswick.
