A Fredericton man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend in Moncton has been sent for a 30-day psychiatric assessment.
25-year-old Hyper James A’Hern has been charged with kidnapping while using an air pistol and uttering threats.
A’Hern will return to court on September 29.
On August 13, Codiac RCMP say a woman was forced to go with a man against her will near the former Highfield Square.
A’Hern was later arrested in Centennial Park.
The woman was not hurt.
