RCMP continue to warn New Brunswickers not to be taken by fraudsters making calls claiming to be from the Canada Revenue Agency.
The callers demand money with claims that the person owes overdue taxes, and that money needs to be paid immediately.
If you have been a victim of the scam, you should report this to police. If you have just been receiving calls, you’re asked to report this to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
