Gas Prices Plummet Overnight In NB

There’s great news for motorists this morning who are needing to full up

The weekly price adjustment has meant a decrease of 5.2 cents a litre.

Most stations in Moncton are selling for around 96.5 cents a litre.

Senior Petroleum Analyst with Gasbuddy.com Dan McTeague says that’s due to all of the decreases we’ve seen on world markets for both crude and gasoline last week.

Diesel prices also fell by 2.3 cents.

Furnace oil is down by 2.9 cents.

McTeague says, “It’s looking to be a pretty decent time to buy fuel like diesel or home heating fuel right into the Christmas period. With the milder winter, we aren’t seeing prices rises as much as we’ve seen in the past.”
