MONCTON, NB–A 40-year-old Saint Paul man is facing charges of aggravated assault and unlawful confinement after an incident in Dieppe on Tuesday this week.
David Beaulieu appeared in Moncton court yesterday afternoon.
He was arrested after Codiac RCMP received reports that a man was driving around Greater Moncton with an injured woman in the back of his van.
Police located the van on Regis street and a 34 year old woman was taken to hospital.
RCMP say the man and woman are in a relationship.
