Residents Forced Out Of Condemned Rooming House

The Canadian Red Cross has assisted several tenants who were forced out of their rooming house at 118 Lewisville Road.

Eleven people were told to leave after the building was condemned due to safety concerns.

Emergency lodging and food was arranged for 6 of the tenants, who needed a place to stay for a few days while they made other arrangements.

The five others have already found a new place to live or are staying with friends.
