Thousands watched as Ian Fowler’s jersey was raised to the rafters at the Moncton Coliseum.
They attended last night Moncton Miracles game, as the team beat the Niagara River Lions 123 to 105.
The final count was 6007 fans, that’s a record for the team.
4000 free tickets were offered for the game the honoured Fowler. Before he passed away in 2011, he helped to put the City of Moncton on the map for concerts, sporting events and other festivities.
