A suspect has been identified in a fatal hit-and-run crash on New Year’s Day in Bass River.
RCMP say they are looking for a 32-year-old Moncton man but his name can’t be released yet because charges have not been laid in court.
On New Year’s Day, Mounties say a car collided with a pick up truck in Bass River.
The 19-year-old driver of the car died and two other men who were passengers were taken to hospital with critical injuries.
All three were from the Bass River area.
The pick up truck driver fled the scene and police later learned the vehicle had been stolen from an Indian Mountain area business.
