Dieppe Residents Want To Stop Rezoning

There’s a meeting tonight for Dieppe residents looking to fight back against the proposed rezoning of a vacant property in their neighbourhood.

The property is near Dieppe Boulevard and Yvonne Street – which is a residential neighbourhood.

Residents are saying they have no problem with small businesses, but the 58,000 square foot planned rezoning is too large for the area.

They have launched an online petition to be presented to Dieppe City Council on January 12th.

The meeting tonight is for all concerned residents at the Crowne Plaza hotel at 6pm.
