RCMP Seek Information On Shooting Near Geary Speedway Last Summer

The Mounties are asking anyone with information about a shooting near the Geary Speedway last year that left a man without the use of both of his hands to come forward.

A 39-year-old man was hit with a rifle bullet while sleeping in his tent trailer on July 25. The man is now no longer able to work or care for himself. A small group of people were shooting near the camp site when the man was struck and police believe people in the community know who is responsible the man being shot.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2000 for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for this.

To reach Crime Stoppers call 1-800-222-8477, text TIP212 + your message to CRIMES (274637) or on www.crimenb.ca.
