Bomb threat at Moncton courthouse

An evacuation at the Moncton courthouse on Thursday morning.

RCMP were called to Assomption Boulevard at around 10 am after reports of a bomb threat.

The building was secured, evacuated and searched as a precaution.

Constable Luc Picard stated that nothing was found, and around an hour later, everyone was permitted to return inside the building.

He says an investigation is underway to determine the source of the threat.
