Riverview High School was placed in a Hold and Secure mode this afternoon after information of a threatening nature was received according to officials with the Anglophone East School District.
RCMP were called in after one student allegedly threatened another student with a firearm in the washroom.
One individual was taken into custody outside the school but no other details have been released.
Mounties indicated it was safe to remove the Hold and Secure mode a short time later and normal activities resumed.
Police say no one was hurt.
