RCMP Investigating Death In Kent County As Homicide

The death of a man in a Sainte-Marie-De-Kent, is now being investigated as a homicide.

RCMP found the man inside a home on Route 515 on February 21.

The victim has been identified as 67-year-old Elias Bastarache, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent.

The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.

Police believe that the man’s death was an isolated incident.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
