RCMP investigate August robbery at CF Champlain

Mounties are looking for help as they investigate a robbery at CF Champlain in Dieppe.

The incident happened at an unnamed business in the mall at around 9 p.m. on Aug. 24

Police said a man entered the store, went to the cashier, and ran off with more than $700 in items.

“The employees followed the individual outside the store and the suspect warned them to stay away, threatening he had a gun,” RCMP said in a news release on Friday.

The suspect walked outside the mall and drove off in a dark grey Dodge Journey with black rims.

He is described as an older man, approximately six feet tall, weighing about 220 pounds, with a moustache and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
