Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Looking For Applications To PM’s Youth Council

Applications are being accepted for the Prime Minister’s Youth Council.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the 16 to 24 year old members will advise him on a variety of national issues.

“I’m talking about issues like high unemployment, rising student debt, and a lack of affordable housing,” says Trudeau. “As members of the PM’s Youth Council, you will work with me to be the voice of Canada’s youth at the highest level of government.”

He says he’s looking for the next generation of Canadian leadership to advise the government.

“I need your ideas, and advice to address the challenges that young Canadians, and indeed all Canadians face today,” says Trudeau.

In order to be a part of the first meeting this October, you must apply before August 12th.

Otherwise you have until October 7th to join the second wave of meetings scheduled for next year.
