Premier Focusing On Keeping Youth In New Brunswick

There are too many young people looking for work, and who want to stay in New Brunswick, but aren’t able to do so.

That from Premier Brian Gallant, who says that is the focus of government right now.

He says, “We ( the provincial government ) have been talking for months now on how to develop the right policies, and make the right investments, that will help our young people be educated, gain the skills they need for the New Brunswick economy, ensuring that we help them when they’re young, to be able to build their roots here in our province, to ensure that they can stay here and help grow our economy.”

Gallant points to the 30 thousand jobs being created for youth, across the country, by the federal government. He says you can be sure New Brunswick will do everything it can to ensure some of those jobs come here.
