POSTPONED: Busy Moncton City Council Agenda

Due to the winter storm, the public session of Council scheduled for 5 pm this evening will be postponed until 10 am on Tuesday, March 22nd with particular public interest segments to be reconvened at 5 pm.

The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall (655 Main Street).

Councillors will hear a report on the 2015 Audit from Grant Thornton, and a separate report from the Enhancing Democracy Committee Chair, Frank Vandenburg.

There are also a number of city contracts to be awarded, including the resurfacing and patching of various streets, traffic paint, utility cuts and watermains.

There’s also a request for proposal for between 6 and 12 forty foot buses for Codiac Transit.

It is expected there will also be discussion about the proposal to move the public library to the old Moncton High School.
