Poll Shows Many Experience Racial Discrimination

A new poll from Corporate Research Associates shows that most visible minorities in New Brunswick have faced some form of racial discrimination.

Of those surveyed, one in six say they have experienced racial discrimination.

The results are similar across Atlantic Canada with the percentage being slightly higher in Nova Scotia.

Across New Brunswick, residents outside the Greater Moncton area are more likely to have experienced racial disrimination in their lifetime.

The phone survey included almost 400 adult New Brunswickers last month.
