Police Continue Investigation After Shots Fired In Dieppe

Police continue to investigate after a firearm was discharged at a home in Dieppe.

Police responded to a residence on Chartersville Rd. at about 1pm on Saturday.

A 28-year-old man was injured in the incident and was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

A short time later, a 29-year-old man was arrested at another location on Amirault street. He is being held in custody for breaching parole.

Residents may see a number of police officers in the Chartersville Road and Amirault Street area on November 10 as investigators continue their investigation.

Anyone with information or may have seen someone suspicious in the area of Chartersville Road and Amirault Street on Saturday afternoon is asked to contact the RCMP.
