The Crown is calling it the worst crime in the history of Prince Edward Island.
Alfred Guy Vuozzo, 46, was sentenced today to life in prison with no chance of parole for 35 years.
Vuozzo pleaded guilty in February to killing 68-year-old Brent McGuigan and his son, 39-year-old Brendon McGuigan.
The two were shot in their home near Montague, P.E.I. last August.
The court heard Vuozzo carried out a revenge killing in connection with a fatal car crash 40 years ago involving the two families.
