A new partnership between Oulton College, Qimple and Dovico means a better competitive advantage for New Brunswick students.
Janelle Bourgeois is the Director for Organizational Performance at Oulton College.
She says one part of the partnership is two new full tuition bursaries for Grade 12 students in the province.
“The partnership would allow our students to have on the job training and potential hire,” says Bourgeois. “I think it’s allowing our students to really integrate into a sector that is actually growing the economy of New Brunswick.”
She says these companies have been forced to look outside the province for employees because they aren’t finding the right candidates with the proper skillset within New Brunswick.
“The employers would rather have local people with our values from the community and train them with the specifics that they need to really bring their company to another level,” says Bourgeois.
Bourgeois says Dovico and Qimple have clients worldwide so it’s opening global doors for our students.
