Organigram Looks Forward To Taking Next Steps With NB Liquor

Organigram is looking forward to working with NB Liquor as they take the next step to determine what the retail landscape will look like in New Brunswick

Chief Commercial Officer Ray Gracewood says, “The primary focus has to be public safety, and I think public safety in a lot of cases comes down to control. I think at the end of the day, considering the nature of New Brunswick, and what we know about the operations of New Brunswick, I think the ANBL is well suited for several reasons. Whether that is back office things, such as category management or retailing expertise, they are just well positioned to be able to take that first step to create a regulated and positive experience for consumers.”

He says they are looking forward to what will come next, “Obviously this is new news, but as we get more clarity on the nature of that operating relationship, we will likely engage with the ANBL, or the sub group of the ANBL, to determine what the sub-group to determine a lot of different factors on what the retail landscape will look like in new Brunswick.”

Organigram recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the provincial government to become one of the first licensed producers of cannabis in New Brunswick..
