Ontario Man Faces Drug Charges In Moncton

An arrest at the bus terminal in Moncton has left an Ontario man facing several charges.

Officers say 41 year old Paul Toland Fitzgerald was arrested yesterday after behaving suspiciously, and fleeing from the terminal when he noticed he was being watched by law enforcement.

They say he was arrested after officers discovered large quantities of methamphetamines and amphetamines in a bag.

Fitzgerald is facing three charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and seven counts of unlawful trafficking.

He returns to court for a bail hearing today.
