Ernie Melanson, 78 of Moncton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at The Moncton Hospital.

Ernie was a carpenter, and earlier years was an avid bowler.

Ernie will be sadly missed by his wife of 42 years, Ginny Melanson; son Eric and sisters Emma and Annette. Aside from his parents, Ernie was predeceased by his daughter Michelle, brother Jean-Paul and sisters Corine and Irene.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home & Fergusons Crematorium, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (506-858-1995). By personal request, there will be no services.
