Raoul LeBlanc

1942 ~ 2026

Bouctouche, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Raoul LeBlanc, 83, who passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Born in Bouctouche on May 15, 1942, he was the son of the late Raymond LeBlanc and the late Bertha LeBlanc (née Savoie). In 1964, he married Simonne Dionne, and they remained married until her passing in 2007.

Raoul will be deeply missed by his beloved partner Lina Cormier; his three daughters: Marielle LeBlanc (Jean-Yves) of Beersville, Joanne McFadden (Charles) and Jacqueline LeBlanc (Alfred), both of Bouctouche. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Mélanie (Dan), Annick, Jocelyn (Janelle), Simon (Naomi), and Céline (Jason); as well as his great-grandchildren: Laurence, Alexane, Noah, Joanie, Luka, and Hudson.

He also leaves to mourn his sisters: Rose-Mai Robichaud (late Jean) and Roberte Dallaire (Ronald), both of Bouctouche, and his brother Jean-Guy (Claira) of Bouctouche.

Also saddened by his passing are his stepchildren: Jacques, Denis (Chantal), and Jacqueline (Charles), as well as his step-grandchildren Xavier and Anabelle. He will also be missed by the Dionne family, along with many nieces and nephews.

Raoul worked as a truck driver for most of his career. He also served his community as a volunteer firefighter for 32 years, including time as Fire Chief.

Raoul and Lina spent many winters at their home in Florida, where they enjoyed playing crib and socializing with friends. He was also very proud of his property and always took great care of it. Raoul will be remembered for his kindness, his devotion to his family, and the many friendships he formed throughout his life.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Simonne (2007), his sister Dorine (Alban), and his brother Roger.

Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Fondation of New Brunswick.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church in Bouctouche.
