May 5, 1925  –  August 11, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of May M. LeBlanc, 101, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at The Moncton residence with family by her side.

She was the daughter of the late Eliza (Bourque) and Wilfred Saulnier.

May worked at the post office for several years. She was always known for helping out others whenever needed. After retirement, she dedicated much of her time to volunteering at Rae Fraser’s, Club D’Age D’OR and at the George Dumont Hospital just to name a few. She always loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved to spoil.

May is survived by her children Louise (Bud) of Halifax, Paul (Trish) of Riverview, Phyllis (Ron) of Dieppe. She was a loving grandmother to Marc (Paula) and Andrew (Kim) of Halifax NS, Kristine (Nathan) of Kentville NS, Danielle (Gaeton) of London ON, Sarah (Jeff) of Moncton, Bob (Melissa) and Louise of Moncton and great-grandmother to 10. She is also survived by her brother Emery Sonier.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 72 years (Aurele), her sister Doris and brothers Fred, Paul and sisters in law Pat, Vi, Maria and Therese.

As per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will be held at Fair Haven Cemetery at a later date.

In memory of May, donations to CHU Dumont Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

The family would like to thank the staff of Moncton Residence, for the care and love shown to Mom during her time as well as the people who sat at her dining table, they were always caring and helpful.
