Marc Doucette

1972 ~ 2026

Marc Doucette (aka Jean Guy Donair or Jean Guy Rubber Boot) was born in Moncton, NB, and grew up in Irishtown, NB, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the age of 53 years.

From the moment Marc was a child, he enjoyed playing video games and reading comic books. He graduated from Mathieu-Martin High School in 1990 and continued his education at NBCC as a Printing Technician.

It was in the spring of 2002 that Marc decided to follow some of his close friends out to Calgary, AB, to seek new adventures and pursue his passion of making BMX videos, snowboarding, and love for live music. He found a career with Federated Co-op and was a long-time employee with them for over 22 years.

He will be most remembered for his support of the local music scene, where he could always be found up front in the moment, soaking in the live energy. He would always be representing and promoting his favorite bands by wearing their merch, whether it be a t-shirt, hoodie, or hat. He would rock his famous lobster costume on special occasions, including the time Iron Maiden called him out mid show and dedicated one of their songs to him. Marc never missed a chance to share a joke or meme with a friend, which would instantly turn anyone’s day around for the better.

Marc will be sadly missed by his parents, Norman and Gisele Doucette, of Irishtown, NB; his sister Chantal Doucette, brother-in-law Robert Godin and nephew Justin Godin, of Dieppe, NB; grand-mother Maria Thebeau, of Rogersville, NB, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault St, Dieppe, NB, 506-857-1901, on Saturday, May 9th, from 9:30 to 11 am, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 11 am.

If desired, a donation in Marc’s memory can be made to the Mental Health Association.

The family invites you to sign a book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.

Arrangements under the professional care of Passage Funeral Cooperative and Cremation Center.
