Lise Privé

1960-2026

Born Champagne

November 10, 1960 – February 20, 2026

It is with profound love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Lise Privé (née Champagne), born November 10, 1960, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Beloved daughter of the late Germain and Jeannine Champagne, Lise shared a special bond with her siblings: Andrée (René Beaudry), Robert (Suzanne), and her younger sister Francine.

Lise was the devoted and loving soulmate of Jean-Pierre for over 43 beautiful years. Together they built a life grounded in deep love, mutual respect, and unwavering partnership. She was a proud and cherished mother to Joël (Sylvie), Riel (Cindy), and Dominique (Eric), and an adoring grandmother to Ariel, Mika, Zoé, Katherine, and Valérie, who were the light of her life.

Lise was living proof that angels walk among us. Kind, patient, determined, and endlessly generous, she always placed others before herself. Music was at the heart of who she was. A dedicated piano teacher for over 30 years and a compassionate music therapist, she touched countless lives — from young children to seniors, including those with special needs.

Artist, photographer, choir singer, devoted cook, nature lover, traveler, swimmer, hiker, and cross-country skier, Lise embraced life with positivity and gratitude. During her courageous 16-month battle with cancer, she remained strong and hopeful, even through her many flights to Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto for treatment.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and to the compassionate caregivers at the Moncton City Hospital for their exceptional care.

Lise’s light, love, and music will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held at Passage-Shediac Bridge (3754 NB-134, Shediac Bridge, NB, E4R 1T3) on Thursday, February 26th, 2026, between the hours of 10am to 12pm and 4pm to 6pm. A celebration of her life will take place at 6pm.
