1932~2026

Lew passed away at home on January 28th, 2026 at the age of 93. Born September 2, 1932 he was the son of the late Frank and Elsie (Taylor) Mollins.

He will be greatly missed by brothers James, Donald (Shirley) and Leigh (Ermine), all of Shediac New Brunswick and one sister Betty of Chilliwack BC as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers Harry, Roy, Robert and Fred and sisters in law Doris, Helen, Edith, Sylvia, Leslie and Betty.

The family would like to thank Special Friends Lise Carroll and Susan Bourque.

As per Lew’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.

In memory of Lew, a donation to the charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated.

Lew worked as an accountant/bookkeeper his entire career, working for several businesses including Eaton’s Springwall (Mattress Factory) and Paturel Seafood. In later years, Lew started his own accounting business and became treasurer/bookkeeper and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 33 in Shediac. Lew continued to do bookkeeping and tax filings right up to his passing. In his youth Lew was an active member of his local Baptist Church. Lew also played several sports including hockey, softball and bowling and became an avid golfer and curler.
