1962 – 2026

Janice Collette of Parkindale passed away unexpectantly on March 20, 2026 in Fort Saint John, BC.  Born in Moncton she was the daughter of Virginia (Brownell) Taylor the late Ivan Taylor.

She was a civil engineer with NBDT 1 and PSPC.  Janice was a member of APEGNB, volunteered with LMHA, MHS football and various home and school functions. In her retired years, Janice enjoyed travelling with her husband, seeing new places and many adventures on route to seeing their children and grandchildren over the last four years. Janice was loved by every life she touched.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Jean; daughter Taylor Collette (Alex Forbes); son Jaret Collette (Caitlyn Landry-Girouard); sister Mary Beth (Justin) Stannard; brother Stephen (Angela) Taylor, her beloved grandchildren who were the light of her eyes, Adeline and Oaklyn and several nieces and nephews.

Her family will be receiving relatives and friends on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a sharing of memories at 4:00pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007). Her burial will take place at the Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.  Donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by her family.
