He was the son of the late Earl Barry and Lillian Doiron (Wilson). Born on May 31st, 1935, in Stilesville NB. Stilesville held a special place in dad’s heart, as he was raised there on a farm and especially in sugar camp season where he loved bringing his children and grandchildren for their annual visits. He raised his family in Moncton NB and worked as a cement truck driver for Leonard & Betty Budd – BR Concrete for most of his adult life until his retirement in 2001. He loved spending time with his family and creating memories. He especially enjoyed taking his family on summer vacations camping on Prince Edward Island.

He is predeceased by his wife Doris (TiTi) Cormier 2004. His stepson Joseph (Joey) LeBlanc 2018, sister Shirley Mellish (late Doug), and brother Kenneth Barry.

He is survived by his children whom he absolutely loved and was extremely proud of. He will be greatly missed by his son Roger Barry (Pam Ward) Fort Nelson, BC, daughters Joanne Barry of Moncton, Yvonne Barry-Belliveau (Charles) of Shediac Cape and Patsy Cormier (Neil Webber) of Riverview. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren who made his life sparkle with happiness, pride, and joy. Grandson and best friend Donny Barry (Carley), granddaughter, and the apple of his eye Michelle Barry (Justin Landry). Great grandchildren Waylon and Hazel Barry. In addition, he also leaves other special extended family members stepson Yvon Caissie (Marie) and their children and grandchildren Martine Allain (Gaston, Jonathan & Janelle), Mathieu Caissie (Carina, Benjamin, Théodore & Nathaniel) of Bouctouche, NB. Mother of the “Barry” grandchildren who continues to be a special member of our family, Nicole Barry and her son, honorary grandson Julien Gauthier (Josée). Ivan is also survived by his sister Eileen Whyte (late Danny), brothers Raymond Doiron (Peggy) and Larry Doiron (Jean) along with an enormous number of cousins, nieces, and nephews all of which he absolutely adored. He genuinely loved each and everyone of you with his whole heart!

Our family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Manoir Pascal Poirier for the care and love they showed dad through his years of having dementia will never be forgotten.
