Herbert Blakney, 65, of Stilesville, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Donald and Gloria (Christie) Blakney.

Herb enjoyed his job as a truck driver, going to races with longtime friend Rick, drinking moonshine and aggravating those he cared for.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Beverly; his daughter, Tonya (Justin); his sisters, Brenda and Valerie (Andre); as well as his many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Cindy; and brother-in-law, Kevin.

In keeping with Herb’s wishes there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Burial will be held at Stilesville Cemetery on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Get together to follow at Bev & Herbs house.
