Saint-Norbert, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Henriette Pellerin, on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by her family.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, on March 2, 1933, she was the wife of the late Célestin Pellerin and the daughter of the late Fidèle Hébert and the late Marie-Anne Hébert (née Cormier).
She is survived by her children: Léa Pellerin of Shediac, Normande Gagnon (Francis) of McKees Mills, Gisèle Richard (Maurice) of Saint-Norbert, Jeannita Richard (Camille) of Cap-Pelé, Raoul (Judy Robertson) of Rexton, Noé (Andréa) of Grande-Digue, Noël (Irène Hébert) of Moncton, and Raymond (Amélie) of McKees Mills.
She also leaves to mourn her eight grandchildren: Denis, Lisa, Mario, Sophie, Serge, Christian, Ghislain, and Céline, as well as several great-grandchildren.
Henriette is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Léo-Paul Hébert (Yvonne) of Shediac, Normand Hébert (Dorice) of Barachois, Bernice LeBlanc, of Shediac, Maria LeBlanc (Gram) of Barachois,
Also the children her second family, late Amédée Bastarache and Marguerite (née Hébert) Bastarache : Noëlla Breau (John) of Ontario, and Claudette Collette, of Montreal as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Édouard, Aldéric, Lionel, Ronald, Marguerite, Ida, Mariella, Pauline and Stella. She was also predeceased by her second family, with whom she was raised from the age of nine months, the late Amédée and the late Marguerite Bastarache (Hébert), as well as their children: Clorice, Gérald, Léandre, Léona, Lydia and Ida.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste for the excellent care given to Henriette.
The family kindly asks that visitors respect a scent-free environment.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Cooperative, Shediac Bridge, on April 7, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by a chapel service at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste, the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
