1949 – 2026
St-Antoine, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ginette Allain on April 28, 2026, at the age of 76, following a brief illness.
Ginette dedicated over 30 years of her life to teaching at École Clément-Cormier, where she made a lasting impact on generations of students. She was known for her kindness, patience, and gentle nature. She loved her co-workers and the meaningful relationships she built with them throughout her career. Ginette always said she was blessed to have had a career she loved so much.
A faithful Christian, Ginette lived her life with compassion, humility, and love for others. Her faith guided her in the way she cared and connected with everyone around her.
She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—going for drives, talking with people, including her close friends, listening to music, and watching nature and the ocean. She was also blessed with many good friends and wonderful neighbours who will miss her dearly.
Ginette was the beloved daughter of the late Dismas and Nélida Arsenault, and sister to the late Fernande Leblanc. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-laws Lina Després, Evelyn Whiffen and Annette Allain, brother-in-law Louis Allain (Jackie) and many nieces and nephews.
Above all, she deeply loved her family. She cherished her son, Yves, and adored her daughter-in-law, Reanne. She also held a special place in her heart for her four-legged grandchild, Duncan.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for Dr Hubert Dupuis and Extra Mural and the compassionate care provided by the staff at Caring Companion
Ginette will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her warmth, and the quiet kindness she shared with everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be no visitation prior to the funeral.
Funeral mass will be held from St-Jean-Baptiste RC Church, Bouctouche, NB, on Friday, May 8th, 2026, at 3 pm, followed by a reception at the Club d’Age d’Or de Bouctouche.
Burial will take place in Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginette’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
