1933 – 2026
MILTON, GERALDINE “Gerry”, 92, of Riverview and formerly of Hopewell Cape, NB passed away February 27, 2026. Born August 6, 1933, in Calhoun Mills, NB, daughter of Everett and Daisy (Price) Atkinson, and stepmother Dorothy (Price) Atkinson.
Mom completed her nursing studies in Inverness, NS, and began her career as a RNA at the TB Hospital where she met her husband, our dad, Reg. She retired in 1996 from the Moncton City Hospital Physiotherapy Dept. with 35+ years of service. Far greater than her working career, her favorite job was being a “Mom”. Her children were her priority, and their needs always came before her own. Mom was the essence of beauty. Her love extended beyond our family with kindness that touched countless lives. Mom made everyone feel special, it was her gift!
Because of her faith in God, she is now reunited with her loved ones who had passed on before her. We are forever thankful to have had a mom like her.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Parker Milton (Carol) of Stoney Creek; daughters, Deborah Milton (Brent) of Elgin, Jan Lutes (Russell) of Riverview, Gail Fillmore (Tom) of Beersville and Kim Tingley (Terry) of Riverview; her grandchildren, Mitch, Amy, Katherine (Katie), Becky, Tom, Allie, Bethany, Robbie, Brad, Drew, Trevor, Krista, Evan, Dustin and Emma, 18 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Vivian Campbell of Hillsborough and brother-in-law, Bill Horsman of NS.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Reg; brothers, Ron & Raymond, and their wives, Bea and Rita and sister, Elsie Horsman.
Her family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 1:00pm until the time of her memorial service at 2:00pm at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007).
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care) would be appreciated by the family.
Due to allergies, we would ask that you please refrain from wearing scents or perfumes to the visitation and funeral service.
