Gary Everette Coughlan
Gary Coughlan, 79, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John and Frances (Lutes) Coughlan.
Gary retired from CN. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Riverview.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Bernice (Meunier) Coughlan, daughter Erin Fowlie (Dean) and granddaughter Aislynn; step sons Donald LeBlanc (Joanne) and granddaughters Nikki Morin (Justin), great grandson Xavier and Krista LeBlanc (Rasel Ahmed); Terry LeBlanc (Claudette) and grandson Timothy and great grandson Aiden; Danny LeBlanc (Liana) and granddaughter Emma; and Bonnie Raeburn (Danny) and grandson Broden; sister June Bavis (Keith) and nephews Kerry and Peter.
Aside from his parents, Gary was predeceased by a grandson Tylor and brother Joey.
A Service to Celebrate Gary’s Life will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton NB (506-858-1995). Reception to follow the service. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery, later in the spring.
