Notre-Dame, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Euclide Richard, 79, that occurred on March 25 ^th , 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton.

Born on August 3rd ^, 1946, he was the son of the late Louis Richard and the late Léona (Cormier) Richard.  

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Roberte Richard (née: Babineau); his two sons: Junior (Nadine) of Bouctouche, and Paul of Moncton; his daughter, Amy of Moncton; his grandson, Simon; his two brothers: Jean-Guy (Lorraine), and Charles (Monique) both of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; his two sisters: Ginette Cormier (late Creighton) of Dieppe, and Yvette Despres (Réginald) of Saint-Antoine; his sister-in-law, Jeannine Richard of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Bernice; his sister, Gérène; and by his three brothers: Jean-Paul (infant), Jean-Paul, and Bernie.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Cooperative, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, E4R 1T3, 506-532-1050, on Wednesday, April 8 ^th , from 1 to 3:45 pm, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 4 pm.

If desired, a donation in his memory can be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation, to Pépère Boite à Lunch, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
