It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emile Landry, 81, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, October 12th, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Campbellton, he was the son of the late Roméo and the late Clémentine Landry (LeBlanc).
Emile will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Marie-Reine; his daughter, Nicole Skerry (Kevin) of Grand-Barachois; his son, Daniel Landry of Dieppe; his grandchildren: Stéphanie, Kris (Nicole), Nick (Julie) and Nick; his great grandchildren: Alexandre and Kayla; his sister, Tina Landry of Moncton; his brothers-in-law: Gérard Doiron and Léopaul Hébert (Claudette); his sisters-in-law: Majella Landry and Doris Landry; his dear nieces and nephews; as well as his special friends: Bobby Surette (Donna) and Abdoulaye Balde (Diami) and family.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings: Clément, Ida, Emma, Albert, and Jeannine; and a sister-in-law, Alma Doiron.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Cedric Wybouw and staff, Dr. Theriault, Dr. Doiron, his nurse Erica, as well as the staff at Extra Mural for the great care they provided, as well as our wonderful neighbors.
Visitations will be held at Passage ~ Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Sunday, October 18th, 2026, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 4:00pm.
Donations in memory of Emile can be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
