Shediac, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eliza Foster, 68, on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at Maison Providence, Shediac.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and the late Dorice (Leger) Leger.
She is survived by her sons: David Foster (Monette) and Jason Foster, both of Cocagne; by her grandchildren: Bentley, Jordan, Makenzy and Alyssa; by her sisters: Odette Belliveau (Odilon) of St-Paul-de-Kent, Huberte Leger (Charles) of Grande-Digue and Bernice Leger (Roger) of Grand-Barachois; by her brothers: Maurice Leger of Calgary, AB, Guy Leger (Denise) of Cocagne, Rhéal Leger of Bouctouche and Jean-Pierre Leger (Joline) of Grand-Barachois, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by the father of her sons, Robert Foster; by her sister, Dorine and by her brother, Edgar.
Respecting the family’s request, there will be no visitation and funeral service.
Burial will be held at St-Pierre Parish Cemetery in Cocagne in the spring.
