June 19, 1947  –  July 5, 2026

Brian Dale Halfpenny, 79 of Stilesville passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Albert House. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Lee Halfpenny (WWII Veteran) and Joan (West) Halfpenny (War bride).

Dale retired as Carman with CN Rail in 1996. Dale was a man of few words and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping. After retirement Dale and Helen were involved with The Moncton Retriever Club. He had a large collection of dogs throughout the years. He spent countless hours in the outdoors with his wife and children and in later years with his grandson. He was always passionate about photography and would often be seen with a camera taking pictures. In later years along with his wife, Helen, they spent their time at the Cabin in Alma, enjoying bird watching, hiking, the ocean and all it has to offer.

Dale will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years Helen (Frizzell); son Alan (Kelly), daughter Lynn Price (Steven), grandson Ewan, sister Susan Pugsley (George), nieces and nephews as well as his canine companions Jessie, Cruzer, Tucker and Tikka.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 11:00 am from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton NB (506-858-1995), reception to follow.

Memorial donations may be made to Friends of The Moncton Hospital.
