Clarence Allain

1936-2026

Saint-Antoine, NB- It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Clarence Allain, 89, that occurred on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Saint-Antoine, NB, on September 11th, 1936, he was the son of the late Alphée Allain and the late Marie (Goguen) Allain.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Yvonne (Babineau) Allain of Saint-Antoine; his daughters: Jeannita Arsenault (Bernard) of Saint-Antoine and Jeannine Allain (Leopold) of Moncton; his sons: Léo-Paul Allain (Marie) of Bouctouche, Jean-Paul Allain (Andréa) and Gilles Allain (Angèle) both from Saint-Antoine; his brothers: Alonzo Allain (Dorice), George-Alfred Allain (Aline) both from Saint-Antoine and Albert Allain (Vicky) of Cocagne; his grandchildren: Melissa (Charles), Jeremy, Mireille (André), Christina (Adam), Isabelle (Tyler), Jasmine (Réjean), Jessica (Rémi), Josée (Mario) and Sébastien; his great grandchildren: Zoé, Audrée, Simon, Philipe, Sophie and Henry; his sister in law, Lauretta; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Clarence was predeceased by his infant brother, Gilles; his sisters: Rita (late Omer), Alida, Claira (late Paul), Dora (late Roger), Stella (late Alonzo); as well as his brother: Laurie.

Visitation will take place at Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Church on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, from 2:00pm to 3:45pm only, followed by the funeral service at 4:00pm.

In Clarence Allain’s memory, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Foyer Saint-Antoine.
