It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Christopher Nelson Vidito, who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 69.

Born in France, Christopher was the beloved son of the late Fred and Margaret Vidito. He will be deeply missed by his brothers Darrell and Brian, and his sister Kathy (Roland), as well as by his many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Christopher was predeceased by his parents; his brothers Jim and David; and his sister Diane Peddle (Wayne).

The family will forever cherish the warm memories of Christmas gatherings in the kitchen, filled with laughter, conversation, and the comforting aromas of turkey and ham cooking. Christopher especially enjoyed spending time playing video games with his nephews Robert and Michell, and his great-nephew Chris. Known for his quiet strength and devotion to family, Christopher lovingly looked after his sister Kathy following the passing of their parents.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all the medical staff at The Moncton Hospital for the compassionate care provided to Christopher.

In memory of Christopher, donations may be made in his name to the Canadian Mental Health Association of Moncton.
