Charles E. Fraser, 81 of Clairville, NB, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Born in Bryants Corner, he was the son of the late Melbourne and Ruby (Flanagan) Fraser.
Charlie was a retired Welder and Tractor Trailer Mechanic with Trailmobile Canada with over 40 years of service. He loved hunting, driving his side by side, spending time in the garage with his close friends and spending time with his family.
Charlie will be sadly missed by his loving wife of over 61 years, Harriett (Beers) Fraser of Clairville; daughter, Connie Fraser-Thibodeau (Omer) of Moncton; son, Dale Fraser of Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Corey Thibodeau and Alaina Fraser Korten (Darren), Matthew Thibodeau and Alysha Whiteley (Jaco); great grandchildren, Blair, Rowan, Miles and Alice; sister, Freda Fraser; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was predeceased by his son, Ross Fraser (1979); brothers, Harvey Fraser (late Vivian), Ray Fraser (late Verna), Alan Fraser, Gary Fraser and Kenneth Fraser.
Private Family interment to be held in Saint Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Browns Yard, Kent Co., NB at a later date.
Charlie’s arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home & Fergusons Crematorium, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995).
