July 31, 1925  –  February 25, 2026

Beatrice Mae Fairweather, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at her home, Serena Care Lady Russell with Marilyn at her side.

Born in Selma, NS on July 31, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Sutherland and Edith (Hamilton) Neil.

She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Walker (Gary), honorary daughter Sherry (Lusby) Fulton, a life-long friend of Marilyn’s; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Beatrice was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Franklyn (1993); infant daughter Rowena (1946); brothers Gerald, Marvin and Donald; sisters Edna and Doris.

We will be forever grateful to Serena Care Special Care Home, who have become family. To Susan, Leslie and their amazing care providers, Thank You for your devoted care and kindness.

In keeping with Mum’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home & Fergusons Crematorium, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (506-858-1995). Interment will take place at Stilesville Cemetery.

In memory of Mum, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
