Moncton, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Achille Vautour, 70, of Manoir Notre-Dame, Moncton and formerly of Cap-Pelé, on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, he was the son of the late Léandre and the late Octavie (Allain) Vautour.
He is survived by his sisters: Cécile Vautour (Gerry Babineau) of Dieppe, Léona LeBlanc (Azor) of Petit-Cap and Sylvia Cormier (late Paul) of Dieppe; by his brothers: Ferdinand (Jeannette) of Cap-Pelé and Vincent of Moncton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Maria and by his brothers: Aquilla and Michel.
Visitation will be held from Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila RC Church Slumber Room, (downstairs at the church, parking and entrance at the back), on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, from 7 to 9 pm and also, on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:45 am, followed by the funeral in the church at 11 am.
Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery following the service.
