Northern NB Man Faces String Of Charges After Complaint

Following a complaint last week, RCMP arrested a Restigouche County man and he’s now charged with various offences.

Police say 39-year-old Kevin Lavallée from Eel River Crossing faces charges including uttering death threats, assault, possession of a prohibited crossbow and possession of fentanyl and cocaine for the purposes of trafficking.

Mounties also carried out a search warrant at a home in Eel River Crossing and seized what was believed to be cocaine, prescription pills and drug equipment.

Lavallée is being held in custody and will make another appearance in Campbellton court for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
