No 2025 Memorial Cup bid for Moncton Wildcats

The Moncton Wildcats will not bid on the 2025 Memorial Cup.

A statement was issued over the weekend, to say they will forego it at this time.

The organization also stated the chance of winning the competitive bid was unlikely.

This is because a major junior hockey team in Quebec has not hosted this national championship in the past ten years.

The team said although disappointed, they could not commit the time, effort or resources required to prepare this extensive bid.
