A new building is now under construction near the Greater Moncton International Airport which will put three existing services under one roof.
At more than 32,000 square feet, the new operations centre will house the fire hall, the electrical building and mechanical maintenance garage.
Airport spokesperson Julie Pondant says the $13.5 million project is being paid for through the so-called AIR fund which is added to passenger tickets.
The operations centre will be built on Aviation Avenue, just west of the airport terminal, and should be ready to open by July 2015.
