New Local Ownership Great News For The Moncton Miracles

New local ownership for the Moncton Miracles comes as great news for the team’s Booster club.

It was announced yesterday that seven area businesspeople have invested in the team.

Booster Club spokesperson Andrea Milburn says the local Owners know the community, and this means more stability for the team.

She believes this is their year.

“We have the talent, the boys have a great coach, we have great talent on the court, and now we have owners behind us,” says Milburn. “I think it’s just a recipe for success.”

One of the goals of the team is to become the third team in the league to win a championship.

“I want a parade, I want a championship, I want that, and I’m not the only fan, there’s a lot of us that want that,” says Milburn.

She says they can do it this year.

“I had an opportunity to try on the rings from Windsor, and the rings from London, and I would not touch them, because the only ring I want to see is the one that says Moncton,” says Milburn.

She adds new owners means stability, and that will lead to success on the court.
